Context
Finance operations needed transactions between SAP and the company’s banks to move without manual re-keying, and to be traceable end to end.
My role
I designed and implemented the integrations between Delta’s SAP Finance module and two core-banking platforms, FBC and Ecobank.
Approach
- Security first. The integration carries financial transactions, so the connection between internal systems and each bank was designed and reviewed with security as a primary requirement.
- Real time. Transactions are exchanged as they happen, giving finance immediate visibility.
Outcome
- Transparent, real-time financial transaction processing between SAP and both banks at enterprise scale.
